Snapchat is one of the most popular social media platforms in the Middle East.countries - especially in Saudi Arabia with more than 7 million Saudis users every day.But they are not being allowed to see the Al Jazeera Discover Channel.Its blocked by Snapchat because the Saudi government said the channel's content violates cybercrime laws.Its the latest punishment announced by Saudi leaders after they cut diplomatic ties with Qatar and imposed a land, sea and air blockade on June 5th - and so did several other neighbouring countries. They accuse Qatar of supporting terrorism - allegations strenuously denied.Should social media companies such as Snapchat bow to any country’s political agenda?
